Is there ever a time when you'll truly be ready to chase a dream?
The answer is no.
You will never be ready.
We often give the excuse that the timing isn't right, life is too busy right now, or my kids demand too much of my time.
We've all said it.
And it doesn't mean that those things shouldn't matter.
However, the matter is that we don't want to do it, whatever it is, because we don't want the chance of failure clawing at our backs. These thoughts often are a contributing factor to procrastination, as well. We avoid at all costs, so we don't have to deal with failure.
So what do you do?
Well, for starters, you don't give up.
This post is not meant to make you feel inadequate as a human. We have all been in these spots. We don't want to get up off the couch. We don't want to get dressed and go to the gym. We don't want to write because there's a block. There will always be an excuse if we look for one. This post is meant only to encourage you. To give you the desire to want to do something.
Let the voice in the back of your head screaming for you to get up be louder than all the doubts, fears, and even louder than the chips you are eating.
I want you to succeed. I want you to dream. Then please make those dreams come true.
Do one thing that scares you every day. Every single day. Do something that brings you out of your comfort zone, something that will get you one step closer to your dream or goal.
You deserve this. You deserve to have your dreams and goals be your real life, not a fantasy you imagine in your head.
Even if you choose one thing that scares you that is small, do it. Even being small can change every little thing.
Go, my beautiful little bird, unchain yourself and live. Live with thoughts of making your dreams come true.
