As we get closer to the release of Hometown Heartbreakers, I want to share with you more about my story, where I got my inspiration from, backstory, etc.
This week I am going to share two songs from my Running In Love playlist that can give you an idea about the story. Ordinary Man by Ozzy and Elton John: I asked my husband for a song that a man could call his favorite song. He came back with this song. There is a lot packed into this song that also fits in with my story. If you don't know, my husband doesn't read my books, I ask questions and he answers and helps me work through my plot, but he doesn't read my stories. Crazy how he picked this song and basically didn't know the nitty gritty of my story. The struggles of feeling alone, the struggles of not wanting the recognition, and how life always somehow spins back to love. All Our Own by Radio Company: This song is just beautiful. I'm not biased that the lead singer is Jensen Ackles (the lead from my favorite TV show), okay I am biased, but it's still a great song. Lol! Life doesn't always send perfectly placed plans in front of us and not give us some sort of temptation. To me, the way I interpret this song, it's just that. About whether right or wrong, living in a world alone isn't worth it. Running In Love is about working through grief of loss and how we can depend on other people. Life doesn't have to be a battle we face all alone. It shouldn't be. I write about real life, I write about the passion, the reality, and the romance. There is just a little peek into my story for the box set.

March is here! There are so many things happening in the month of March that I am excited for. I have finished major edits on Running In Love and now it's just on to proofreading and minor fixes, if needed. I hope you all enjoy this story (and boxset!) as much as I do! These characters have been so fun to create. Also with March, we will be revealing the cover for the Hometown Heartbreakers Box Set as well! I can't for you all to see it! It is simply gorgeous! With wrapping up Running In Love I will be taking a small break from writing to gather my thoughts for the next book. This is completely normal for me. It helps me let go of my characters from the previous book and open myself up to explore new characters. Totally a process, but worth it. In the mean time, I will be reading. Here are a few of the books I have picked out to read for the month of March. Kingdom of Flesh and Fire I have finished this book already. My review will be up soon! Dawn of the End Almost finished with this one! I hope you first week of March has a good one! Until next time!
